Hi, I’m Andy.
I’m a Civil Engineer with a great passion for innovation and design. I love to keep learning, play all types of sports, and give back to the community. All of these have contributed to what MotionGrey is now.
During my studies at UBC, I suffered from personal back pain after getting an injury from sports, and the pain progressed when I started working more from home. Physio and rehab helped, but the continued stress and pain caused by my posture when at home or at work sitting in front of a desk would worsen the pain.
My journey started here, in my search for a solution, and in the process I discovered that the problem is so much bigger and so much more common. Over the years, it has become a mission to help people improve their lives through ergonomics

Hi, I’m Alex.
I’m a Civil Engineer and a traveler with an unsated curiosity for understanding how things work. I consider myself a follower of Christ, and I am interested in human experience and in helping my community.
These interests have made me attuned to some of the most common yet seldom noticed everyday problems of modern society, such as this growing affliction we all call our sedentary lifestyle. In an effort to find solutions, I discovered standing desks.
They are the future of the modern workspace and the foundation of a healthy working lifestyle, but they were accessible only to an exclusive few due to their high cost. There weren’t many local options, and what few were available were all subpar in quality. We built MotionGrey to bring this solution to the people who need them most.

Hi, I’m Gavin.
I always thought I would end up being an accountant, but life had different plans for me. When I sold my first product and saw its impact on the customer’s life, I knew this is what I wanted to do. I have always had a passion for product development and design, which has led me in the direction of MotionGrey.
All our ergonomic furniture has created healthier work environments, which ultimately lead to better lives! My favourite part of this journey is the relationships that we have built with offices throughout Canada.
We have furnished over 100 offices in Canada, and have partnered with international companies to ensure affordable office equipment.
